Who we are
CLEANLINE LLC provides home and office cleaning in New York City. Questions about your information: call or text (516) 206-6466, or email hello@cleanlinenyc.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you request a quote or a booking on our website: your name, phone number, email, service address and ZIP code, details about your home and the service you want, preferred date and time, and any notes you add.
- When you call, text or email us: your phone number or email address and the content of our conversation, so we can answer and schedule your cleaning.
- When you send a request on our website, we also record the time, the page, your IP address and your browser and device type. We use them to keep out spam and as a record of your text-message choices.
- Collected automatically:
- basic, aggregated visit statistics through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies;
- the Meta Pixel, which uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads;
- if you arrive from an ad or another website: the ad’s tags (such as utm tags or an ad click ID) and the site you came from, kept in your browser for up to 90 days and sent with your request, so we know which ads bring requests;
- one short-lived technical cookie (
cleanline_booking_owner), kept for up to 6 hours after you send a request, which lets our server check that a request sent from your browser belongs to that browser.
How we use it
To reply to you, prepare a quote, schedule and provide the cleaning, keep records of our work, improve our website, and measure whether our ads work. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Supabase (database)
- Quo (business phone and text messages)
- Zoho (business email)
- Telegram (notifying our team about new requests)
- Housecall Pro (scheduling, invoices and reminders)
- Stripe, Zelle, Venmo and Cash App (payments)
- Meta (ad measurement and targeting)
The cleaner assigned to your visit receives the details needed to do the job, such as your name, address, phone number and access notes. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to a successor if our business is transferred.
Text messages
If you text us or ask us to text you, we use your number to message you about your request and visits. We send offers only if you tick the separate box for them. Our Terms of Service describe our text messages. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting obligations. In particular:
- requests sent through our website are deleted 12 months after they were sent; when you book with us, your booking records are kept in our scheduling system;
- records of your text-message consent are kept for 5 years;
- if you reply STOP, we keep that for good, so we don’t text you again unless you opt back in.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we must keep it by law. We do it within 30 days and keep only a minimal record of your text-message consent or opt-out, without your IP address or browser details.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and stop text messages by replying STOP. To limit ad personalization, use your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
Meta and other third parties may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies on our website to collect or receive information from it and from elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. You can opt out of interest-based ads at www.aboutads.info/choices and limit ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
Children
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date above.
